Coming in 2016, the new Yale Linus Lock is a key free touchscreen lock that is fully integrated with the Nest home and works seamlessly with all Nest products. This allows you extraordinary control and convenience. Not only can you lock and unlock doors from anywhere, it is the only residential door lock that allows you to remotely check to see if the door is secured and locked. There are many ways it works with the Nest home: if your house has Nest Protect, if Protect detects smoke or carbon monoxide, Linus issues a voice alert and a visual alert on its touchscreen to warn you of danger before you enter the house; Linus can inform the Nest Learning Thermostat to switch to Home or Away based on when you enter or leave the house. Also, Linus can turn Nest Cam off when you are home and on when you leave.
